Local masters swimmers Katrine Alcaide of Harpswell and David Vail of Brunswick achieved top national rankings for the 2014-15 indoor season. Alcaide won All-American designation for her number one ranking in the 50 breaststroke for in the women’s 30-34 division. Alcaide was also named All-American last year. Vail was second in the 200 backstroke in the men’s 70-74 division and came in second in the national “Pool Mile” competition.
