United Way of York County recently hired Chiara Ferrante, pictured above, to join its team as manager of resource development. In this role, Ferrante will be responsible for overseeing United Way’s community campaign, Live United 365 Small Business Circle, and will be instrumental in working with UWYC’s Employee Volunteer Engagement Council. Prior to taking the position, Ferrante worked as a staff assistant and caseworker for Sen. Susan Collins and has experience with fundraising as a volunteer for various campaigns in Maine U.S. Senate and gubernatorial races.
