Biddeford police responded in force Sunday morning after being notified about an incident of an unknown nature at an apartment building on Clifford Street, but police were not saying very much about why they went there or what may have happened inside the building.

Deputy Police Chief JoAnne Fisk would only say that no one was arrested as a result and no injuries were reported. Police spent more than an hour at the property before leaving. Fisk said she would likely issue a press release Monday morning with more details.

A police dispatcher said the police call came in around 11 a.m. Saco police said they sent officers to the scene to help block off a street.
