PORTLAND — Small business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to make their pitch for financial backing July 29 when “Shark Tank” auditions come to the city.
“Shark Tank” has been broadcast on ABC for six years, and has a companion “Beyond the Tank” series that follows entrepreneurs who had their ideas funded.
The auditions, sponsored by U.S. Cellular and ABC, will be held at the Italian Heritage Center, 40 Westland Ave., according to a U.S. Cellular press release.
The first 500 people to arrive are guaranteed a chance to show their ideas. Numbered wrist bands will be handed out at 9 a.m. on the day of auditions.
