From the Journal Tribune: “Anyone planning to pick up a six-pack for their kid brother had better think twice, as police are increasingly cracking down on underage drinking and on those who support it. … The Biddeford Police Department began Special Enforcement Action Team (SEAT) details to combat underage drinking in the early 2000s, and the effort has grown stronger and more focused as the years have gone by.”

From the Biddeford-Saco Journal: “Sophomore Ron Cote streaked 55 yards with an intercepted pass midway in the second period to give St. Louis a 7-0 victory over Biddeford High School before 7,000 fans at Waterhouse Field last night. Cote snagged Chuck Clifford’s heave on the halfback option play and blazed down the St. Louis sidelines for the tally.”
