One man from Massachusetts and another from New York were arrested by Kennebunk police after officers raided a marijuana growing operation, seizing $15,000 worth of drugs and several loaded guns.

Members of Kennebunk’s newly formed special enforcement team and agents with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant Thursday at a home at 316 Alewive Road, police said. Police found marijuana plants 10 to 12 feet tall, capable of producing about 7 pounds of marijuana, police said.

Police also seized a shotgun, rifle and pistol.

Police charged Niles O’Hanley, 29, and David Rodriguez, 29, who now list their address in Kennebunk, with aggravated drug trafficking. They were taken to York County Jail in Alfred and were being held on $25,000 bail pending a Dec. 7 scheduled appearance in York County Superior Court in Alfred.
