Maine State Police say a Bangor man has died from injuries he received in a one-car crash on Interstate 95 in Sidney on Thanksgiving morning.

Christopher Galvin, 44, suffered multiple injuries when he lost control of his vehicle, which struck rock ledges along the highway, and then overturned, coming to rest on its roof.

The crash happened just before 1 a.m. and was discovered by a tractor-trailer driver.

Trooper Diane Perkins Vance said the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and so far no witnesses have come forward who either saw Galvin’s vehicle or the crash.

Galvin was being treated at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where he died Friday.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call State Police in Augusta at 624-7074.
