GRAY — The Kennebunk boys basketball team used a 19-11 third-quarter run to pull away for a 72-63 win over Gray-New Gloucester on Tuesday night.
Zach MacKinnon led the way in the third as he scored nine of his game-high 27 points in the period.
Kennebunk also got 15 points from Travon Bradford, while Cam Lovejoy added 11 and Justin Wiggins chipped in with nine.
Gray was led by John Henry Villanueva with 26 points.
Thornton Academy 64, Scarborough 36
Corey Hart and David Keohan scored 13 points apiece to lead the Golden Trojans past Scarborough.
Rome Pura added nine points and 11 rebounds and Jack Tilley chipped in with nine points in the win .
KENNEBUNK— Gray New Gloucester defeated Kennebunk 40-28 in girl’s basketball Tuesday night.
Alicia Dumont led Gray New Gloucester with 17 points while Kennebunk’s Sierra Tartre led with 10.
