STANDISH — Ben Lambert hit a pair of 3-pointers in the second overtime to lift Thornton Academy to a 63-59 win over Bonny Eagle in a Class AA South boys’ basketball game Saturday afternoon.

Bonny Eagle (1-3) trailed by six going into the fourth quarter, but a corner 3-pointer by Troy Bogdahn in the final seconds of regulation tied the game at 48.

Lambert and Jack Tilley scored 13 points apiece for the Trojans (3-0). Rome Pura added 12 and David Keohan scored 11.

Bogdahn finished with 27 points. Will Myrick chipped in with 10 points for Bonny Eagle.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 51, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 33: Tim Yeaton scored 14 points and Sky Archer added 13 to help the Guardians (1-1) pull away from the Lions (0-4) in the second half at South Berwick.

Caleb LaCroix chipped in 10 points for Seacoast, which outscored the Lions 18-2 in the third quarter to erase a 23-19 halftime deficit.

The Lions were led by Ethan Spaulding with 10 points.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

CARRABEC 47, WISCASSET 27: Mickayla Willette scored 21 points to lead the Cobras (2-2) over the Wolverines (1-3) in North Anson.

Grace Webber scored 10 points and Gabby Chapman contributed eight for Wiscasset.

BOOTHBAY 48, MADISON 38: Paige Brown scored 16 points and Faith Blethen added 12 to lead the Seahawks (4-0) over the Bulldogs (3-1) at Madison.

CAPE ELIZABETH 3, LEAVITT 1: Sean Agrondia, a sophomore, scored his first two varsity goals and Matt Riggle also scored to lift the Capers (2-0) over the Hornets (0-3) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Cape Elizabeth goalie Peter Haber, another sophomore, made 25 saves in his first varsity start.

YORK 7, NOBLE/WELLS 4: Jacob Martin and Spencer Pickett each scored twice as the Wildcats (3-0) won at Rochester Ice Arena.

Evan Whitten had three goals for Noble/Wells (1-2).

WINDHAM/WESTBROOK 9, POLAND/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/OAK HILL 1: Zack Callahan scored three goals and also had an assist, and Windham/Westbrook (2-0) scored seven third-period goals to pull away from Poland/Gray-NG/Oak Hill (0-3) at USM Ice Arena.

CONY/HALL-DALE/MONMOUTH 5, MASSABESIC/BONNY EAGLE/OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Riley Dow, Riley Boivin, Reid Hopkins, Avery Pomerleau and Logan Ledbetter each scored a goal for the Rams (2-1) in a win at USM Ice Arena.

Cam Roy scored for Massabesic (1-2).

GIRLS’ HOCKEY

CHEVERUS/KENNEBUNK/OLD ORCHARD 3, CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE/SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Jill Hannigan had two goals and an assist, and Sophia Giancotti added a goal and an assist to lead the Stags (5-2) to a win at Troubh Ice Arena.

Hannigan opened the scoring 1:21 into the second period, then made it 2-0 five minutes later. Giancotti pushed the lead to 3-0 with 1:13 left in the third period.

Sophia Venditti scored for the Capers (2-5) with 55 seconds remaining.

Taylor Courtois finished with 29 saves for Cheverus.

YARMOUTH/FREEPORT/GRAY-NG 7, BIDDEFORD 0: Katie Clemmer scored four goals to lead the Clippers (3-5) to a win over the Tigers (2-4) at Travis Roy Ice Arena.

Jenny Holmquist and Georgia Giese each added a goal and an assist. Kyaira Grondin also scored.

FALMOUTH 10, PORTLAND/DEERING 0: Evie Clement recorded two goals and two assists, and Stone and Reade Carmichael combined for three goals and three assists to lead the Yachtsmen (5-0-2) past Portland/Deering (0-3) at Family Ice Center.

Falmouth led 1-0 after the first period on a power-play goal by Abi Lebel. The Yachtsmen added four goals in the second and five in the third.
