In addition, volunteers and money to help pay for veterinary services and veterinary supplies are welcome.

Donations may be dropped off at Another Chance Thrift Shop on Market Street or call 676-5599 for someone to pick it up.

The ACAR Thrift Shop and Adoption Center at 37 Market St. in North Berwick is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All of the profits from the thrift store benefit the animals.

To help the ACAR mission of providing a safe environment and quality care for abandoned, abused and lost pets, people may become a Support for Life member by pledging a monthly donation. The Support For Life program asks for the pledge of a $10 monthly donation. A $10 donation combined with the monthly donations of others will help ACAR meet ongoing expenses and continue the work of a true no-kill organization. It is through supporters’ generosity that the organization exists and will be here to serve the community for years to come.

Donations may be sent to: Another Chance Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 552, North Berwick, ME 03906.

Another Chance Animal Rescue has a mission to rescue pets in need. Without the support of the general public, we cannot fulfill our mission. It is to this end that we want to thank each and every one of you who, through your generosity, make it possible for us to assist those who need it the most, the loving companion animals who through no fault of their own end up homeless. We truly appreciate your dedication, caring and selflessness.

Happy New Year to all from the board of directors, volunteers and animals of Another Chance Animal Rescue.
