Mainely Puppies, an Oxford pet store specializing in small breeds, is offering a $200 reward for information leading to the arrest of a woman who stole a puppy from the store Saturday.
The store posted to its Facebook page Saturday that an 8-week-old cockapoo was stolen. The post said the woman came in around 3:30 p.m., placed the puppy into her coat and left.
She is described as 40-50 years old and wearing an olive green jacket.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Oxford police at 539-4414.
