BRUNSWICK — Shannon Brady scored 12 points and Bowdoin jumped out to a 21-point lead early in the game and cruised to a 74-26 win over Williams in a New England Small College Athletic Conference women’s basketball game Sunday.

The Ephs (11-4, 1-3 NESCAC) got within 11 by the half, but Brady scored six in the third period and the Polar Bears (13-4, 3-1) pulled away. Brady finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

WILLIAMS 76, BOWDOIN 65: Daniel Aronowitz scored 11 of his 19 points in the second half and the Ephs (11-5, 2-2 NESCAC) beat the Polar Bears (8-5, 1-2) in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

Cole Teal added 17 points for Williams.

Lucas Hausman had 26 points for Bowdoin. Jack Simonds had 17 points and Neil Fuller added 10.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

NORTHEASTERN 5, MAINE 2: Kendally Coyne scored twice as the Huskies (20-4-1, 15-2 Hockey East) beat the Black Bears (7-16-2, 3-12-1) in Boston.

Hayley Scamurra, Shelby Herrington and Paige Savage also scored for Northeastern.

Victoria Hummel and Audra Richards scored for Maine.
