“The Art of Composing,” a group exhibition opening Saturday at The Sharpe Gallery in Kennebunk, explores the arrangement of elements in art, from music to dance to paintings.
Maine artists whose work is exhibited include Chris Cart of Hallowell, Todd Bezold of York, Sarah Gorham of Arundel, Katherine Gray of Georgetown, Tim Gaydos of Lubec, Sandy Dunn of Chelsea, Michael Walek of York, Victoria Lloyd of Berwick, Dan Graziano of Castine, Pamela Hetherly of Mount Vernon and Linda Murray of Bath.
There will be an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The Sharpe Gallery is at 21 Western Ave. in Kennebunk Lower Village.
The gallery also will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 14, but regular winter hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, or by appointment. For more information, go to thesharpegallery.com.
