LOWELL, Mass. — Local residents were recently named to the dean’s list at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Among those recognized for achieving academic distinction for the fall 2015 semester are: Kate Tiernan of Sanford, majoring in criminal justice and Aleksandra Ranevska of Wells, majoring in modern languages.
