My wife and I enjoy quizzing each other about how old the folks are who are listed in your “Today’s Birthdays” on Page A2. But too often we are frustrated by the many famous people who are not listed.

Last Saturday, you failed to list actress Ursula Andress (age 80), actor Bruce Willis (age 61) and baseball great Clayton Kershaw (age 28).

I think just about everyone will agree with me that these three celebrities are much more famous than Philip Bolden (age 21), who made last Saturday’s list. I looked up Mr. Bolden. He is “famous” for his role in the movie “How to Eat Fried Worms.”

In the interest of full disclosure, being 61 years old influences the movies we watch (sorry, Mr. Bolden), but even so, we think the Portland Press Herald can do a better job with “Today’s Birthdays.”
