SACO — Kirsten Lebreux had a home run, drove in two runs and struck out six Wednesday to lead Biddeford to an 11-7 victory against Thornton Academy in an SMAA softball game.

Biddeford (5-1) totaled 15 hits with Lebreux, Brook Davis, Jocelyn Moody, Brittany Roy, Grace Martin and Aibhlin O’Connor contributing two apiece.

Libby Pomerleau had two hits and scored twice, Kaylee Burns, Maizie Lee and Louissa Colucci each added two hits, and Colucci struck out seven for the Trojans (4-2).

WELLS 17, POLAND 5: Olivia Clay and Karissa Kenyon each went 4 for 5 with three RBI to lead the Warriors (4-2) over the Knights (2-4) at Wells.

Angela Leone added two hits and two RBI, and Samantha Bogue and Cassandra Haye each had two hits for Wells.

Sarah Walton hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning for Poland.

WINDHAM 10, SANFORD 5: Megan Joy hit a two-run double to spark a five-run first inning for the Eagles (3-1) against the Spartans (3-2) at Sanford.

Lauren Talbot also drove in a pair of runs and scored once, and Olivia Mora had two hits, an RBI and a run for Windham.

Jen Jones had two hits and drove in two runs for Sanford.

YARMOUTH 13, LAKE REGION 1: Colleen Sullivan doubled and drove in three runs, and Eleanor O’Gorman hit a solo home run in the second inning to lead the Clippers (3-2) over the Lakers (1-5) in five innings at Naples.

Cate Ralph hit an RBI single as part of a seven-run first inning for Yarmouth. Mari Cooper allowed one hit with three strikeouts, and Sophie McGrath added an RBI double.

BONNY EAGLE 7, SOUTH PORTLAND 3: Ashlyn Wintle and Breanna Lifland each hit RBI doubles during a three-run first inning, and the Scots (2-3) added four runs in the third to pull away from the Red Riots (1-5) at Standish.

Wintle, Lifland and Sarah Champagne each finished with two hits, and Wintle was also the winning pitcher, scattering seven hits over seven innings.

Abbie Jellison and Taylor Bacheldor hit RBI doubles for South Portland.

MARSHWOOD 16, DEERING 3: Kaylah Abdul had four hits for Marshwood (2-3), driving home a pair and scoring three times against the Rams (2-4) at Portland.

Emersyn Colbath-Stevens added three hits, two runs and two RBI. Siobhan Densmore stroked an RBI triple during Deering’s three-run seventh and also scored.

MASSABESIC 12, CHEVERUS 0: Lacey Bean went 4 for 4 with two triples, a double, three RBI and two runs to pace a 16-hit offense for the Mustangs (3-2) against the Stags (0-5) in a six-inning game at Waterboro.

Isabella Lucier added two hits, two runs and an RBI for the Mustangs, who broke the game open with an eight-run third.

Grace Tutt struck out eight and walked two in a five-hitter for Massabesic.

Sophia Giancotti hit a pair of singles and Isabella Probert added a double for Cheverus.

NOBLE 14, WESTBROOK 1: Shaughnessey Gower pitched a two-hitter, and Tyler Chastney and Marisa Cupola had three hits each as Noble (3-3) beat the Blue Blazes (1-4) in a five-inning game at Westbrook.

Jordan Boucher’s two-run single broke a scoreless tie as Noble scored five times in the third. The Knights added six more with two outs in the fourth in a rally ignited by Alexis Franco’s RBI single, then invoked the mercy rule with a three-run fifth keyed by Gower’s two-run double.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 7, FALMOUTH 5: Kaelyn Woods hit a two-run single as part of a four-run fourth inning to lead the Patriots (5-2) over the Yachtsmen (3-3) at Gray.

Cara Waltz had a double, a triple and scored, Alex Thayer added two hits and an RBI, Emily Brewer hit a triple, and Haylie True allowed one walk with four strikeouts in five innings for Gray-New Gloucester.

Julia Treadwell of the Yachtsmen allowed no walks, striking out six.

CAPE ELIZABETH 13, FREEPORT 2: Samantha Feenstra’s two-run single sparked a six-run first inning as Cape Elizabeth (5-2) took control against the Falcons (1-5) at Freeport.

Feenstra finished with four hits and Tess Haller added three. Bailey Karnes had two of the five Freeport hits off Madeline Bauman.

LACROSSE

BIDDEFORD 18, MCAULEY 5: Camryn McKeown had five goals and one assist for the Tigers (3-1), who took a 13-3 halftime lead and cruised past the Lions (1-2) at Biddeford.

Taylor Turgeon added four goals and three assists, and Missy Huot finished with three goals and four assists for the Tigers.

Kaeli Leddy scored twice for McAuley.

KENNEBUNK 13, WAYNFLETE 3: Jenny Bush scored six goals and Carly Sandler had six assists, leading Kennebunk (3-0) past the Flyers (2-2) at Portland.

Olivia Sandford and Kyra Schwartzman added two goals each for the Rams. Izzy Burdock scored two for Waynflete.

BOOTHBAY REGION 18, LAWRENCE 3: Lincoln Hamblet scored four goals to lead the Seahawks (2-1) past the Bulldogs (0-3) at Boothbay Harbor.

Jackie McLoon and Hannah Cola added three goals each for Boothbay.

Cassie Poli led Lawrence with two goals.

FALMOUTH 13, YORK 7: Sydney Bell had eight goals and three assists, and Olivia Stucker added two goals and two assists to lead Falmouth (4-0) past the Wildcats (1-3) at York.

Allie Lawlor led the Wildcats with three goals. Emma Ford added two goals and an assist.

YARMOUTH 15, FREEPORT 4: Jessica Kirk and Eliza Lunt each had four goals and two assists to lead the Clippers (2-1) over the Falcons (1-2) at Yarmouth.

Ella Antollini added three goals, and Cory Langenbach had two goals and an assist for Yarmouth, which led 11-2 at halftime.

Chloe Davidson had two goals, and Jessica Driscoll and Taylor Rinaldi also scored for Freeport.
