Former Falmouth High boys hockey coach Scott Rousseau has been named the new Cheverus High girls’ hockey coach, the school announced Tuesday. Rousseau replaces Kent Hulst, who coached the Stags for one season.

Rousseau coached Falmouth for 13 seasons, resigning in 2010. Under Rousseau, the Yachtsmen reached the regional semifinals every season, and the regional championship game four times.

Cheverus, which includes players from Kennebunk High and Old Orchard Beach High, finished 11-7 last year and reached the South semifinals.
