SAUGUS, Mass. — Ronald D. Agreste, 75, formerly of Biddeford, died Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, Massachusetts.

He was the loving husband of Natalie (Dixon) Agreste, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Biddeford, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Gertrude (Lauzon) Agreste. He was a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He worked as a comptroller in the auto industry.

Ronald was loved by many. He was a wonderful husband and father whose greatest joy was being with his family. He was also an avid Red Sox fan.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Agreste.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Agreste is survived by: four children, Steven Agreste and his wife Gail of Weston, Massachusetts, Kristin Agreste of Saugus, Massachusetts, Cindy Rego and her husband Dan of Saugus, Massachusetts, and Danny Agreste and his husband Bob of Dedham, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Elizabeth, Sam, Ben, Erin, Elise and Grace; one brother, Richard Agreste of Biddeford; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his puppy, Lilly Rose.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, Massachusetts, from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 16. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, followed by a funeral Mass at noon in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Saugus.
