The “Beer Muse” column “Take it from me: Babies love Little Tap House,” which ran on Page M26 of the June 9 MaineToday Magazine, is disturbing on many levels.
I acknowledge that it has been many years since my children were babies, but when did play dates for babies move from playgrounds to beer bars? Envisioning babies crawling around on the floor at the Little Tap House while their parents taste test locally crafted beers for two hours does not call to mind “baby fun.”
One last thought: Who is driving the babies home? Let’s hope a designated driver.
