Gleason Fine Art, located at 31 Townsend Ave. in Boothbay Harbor, will feature a new exhibit, “Henry Isaacs: New Work,” beginning Thursday.

The show, which runs through Aug. 30, includes more than 24 paintings, some of them massive.

“His approach to painting mirrors the way he lives his life – passion, energy, intelligence, joy, and self-assurance,” according to a press release about the exhibit. “His style – broken brushwork with a complex, multi-layered palette of delicate blues, greens, pinks, and yellows – marks him as one of the most recognizable artists working in Maine today.”

This is his second solo show at the gallery.

There will be an artist’s reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 5. For more information, call 633-6849 or go to gleasonfineart.com.
