In response to Ronald Currier, who claims as fact in his Aug. 21 letter that never has he had a negative response to his Donald Trump bumper sticker:

I would like to point out several things. The first is that we, those who don’t agree with them, don’t lower ourselves to bombast and insults. Secondly, we respect their opinion though we don’t agree.

Lastly, we have faith that the majority of voters will repudiate the hatred, racism, intolerance and fear mongering that Trump and Gov. LePage exemplify. Yes, Mr. Currier, nobody has pulled up and flipped you the one-finger salute because we who disagree with you respect your opinion and your right to express it. America will be great again when you all return the favor.
