Chelsea Clinton will come to Maine this week to campaign on behalf of her mother, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

At an event Thursday in Orono, Clinton will lay out the stakes of November’s election while urging Maine voters to support Hillary Clinton and her vice presidential running mate, Tim Kaine, said a press release issued Tuesday by the Hillary for America campaign.

Chelsea Clinton is scheduled to appear with former U.S. Sen. George Mitchell of Maine. Doors will open at 10 a.m. for the organizing event at the University of Maine’s Wells Conference Center.

“With more people voting in this election than any in history, Clinton will urge Mainers to vote and make sure their voices are heard in this important election,” said the campaign.

Chelsea Clinton, 36, is the only daughter of Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton.
