I want to remind voters that elections are local. All across this country, town and city clerks and election registrars work hard to ensure that our elections are fair, honest and open. When some folks denigrate our election system and disparage election officials, they are undermining our democracy.

If voters have questions about elections, ask the people who do the real work of running elections – not the politicians who seem to be clueless as to how voting works in this country.
