It was interesting to see all of the people out there protesting the election outcome, spouting off against intolerance, hate and prejudice. Where was their tolerance, love and compassion toward all their fellow American citizens when they lost their jobs to outsourcing?
Why were they not out there picketing and protesting against all the companies taking away Americans’ livelihood? Why did they not care that their fellow citizens would now have a hard time feeding, clothing and housing their families?
It might have helped if a majority had stood up and boycotted these companies’ products.
It seems to me that most Americans fiddled with their new phones and new iPads, while other Americans burned with anger and elected Donald Trump.
I voted for Hillary Clinton, but I accept the outcome of the election. More should have been done, and we failed.
