SACO—Linda M. Hennebury, 67, of Saco, passed away late Monday evening on Dec. 12, 2016, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.

She fought a 10-year courageous battle with breast cancer, never letting her illness interfere with her outlook on life.

She was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts on Oct. 20, 1949, a daughter of Joseph and Mary (Pierce) Ryan.

Linda was employed by Southern Maine Medical Center / Southern Maine Healthcare, in Biddeford for over 20 years.

She was a volunteer for Biddeford Free Clinic and Southern Maine Medical Center for many years.

She also was a former active member of Altrusa Club, a non-profit organization, of Biddeford-Saco community. This club was a true passion of hers where she held many positions including president.

Linda was known for always giving of her time and herself, she will be sadly missed by many.

Mrs. Hennebury was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Harvey and Gordon Ryan.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James G. Hennebury; three children, James M. Hennebury of Saco, Scott M. Hennebury and his wife, Kerri, of Buxton, and Jennifer Manter and her husband, Eddie, of Sidney; and six grandchildren Liam, DJ, Nicki, Lizzy, Michael and Emily. She is also survived by seven siblings, Judy Hedgecorth, Peg Ryan, Ellen Macneill, Jo-Ann Evans, David, Bobby and Jim Ryan.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Laurel Hill Cemetery, time to be announced.
