BRUNSWICK — Noah Austin scored from Tyler LaCascio to and Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse scored twice in the third period for a 3-2 win over Lawrence/Skowhegan in a boys’ hockey game Wednesday night.

LaCascio scored less than a minute into the first period to give the Eagles (2-2) a 1-0 lead. The Bandits (0-2) tied it up late in the second period on a power-play goal by Cody Dixon, then took the lead on a penalty shot by Gunnar Hann with 17 seconds left in the second.

Sam Kelly tied it up for the Eagles midway in the third period.

NOBLE/WELLS 4, MARSHWOOD/TRAIP/SANFORD 2: Evan Whitten scored three goals to lead the Knights (1-2) over the Hawks (1-2) in Dover, New Hampshire.

Lukas Hughes scored midway through the third to give the Knights the lead.

Henry Hokonen and Jarid Tomblin gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead in the second period.

Whitten scored once in the second period and twice in third.

EDWARD LITTLE 5, WINDHAM/WESTBROOK 2: Eli McBride scored two goals as the Eddies (1-2) beat the Eagles (0-3) in Westbrook.

Eli Thibodeau, Ben Lane-Richards and Jason Cote for Edward Little. Dylan Francouer and Derek Corbett scored for Windham.


LAKE REGION 63, WAYNFLETE 44: Chandler True scored 18 points and the Lakers (3-2) started the game on a 17-0 run to beat the Flyers (2-3) in Naples.

Kristen Huntress added 16 for Lake Region. Lydia Giguere scored 21 points for the Flyers.

Girls’ hockey

YORK/TRAIP ACADEMY 9, PORTLAND/DEERING 0: Seven different players scored a goal as the Wildcats (3-3) beat the Bulldogs (0-6-1) at Troubh Ice Arena in Portland.

Jessa Smith scored three goals for York, while Sophia Blanchard and Katherine Bertolini each had a goal and two assists. Grace Campbell had a goal and an assist, while Sydney Bouchard, Layne Patry and Emma Ford each had a goal.
