PARENTS ALL OVER AGAIN: Cheryl Baker, a 52-year-old special education teacher in Fryeburg public schools, pulls her granddaughter Claire in a sled at their home in Stow recently. Baker and her husband took on parenting duties after their daughter Ronni died of an overdose in 2015. But she says Claire keeps them busy and helps push away the enduring grief. “She can lift you out of the doldrums,” Baker says.
