Investigators from the state Fire Marshal’s Office arrested two men Thursday in connection with an arson at a business in Etna.

Investigators arrested David Underhill, 23, of Etna and Mark Littlefield, 18, of Corinna on arson charges, said Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Fire Marshal’s Office.

Underhill and Littlefield were taken to the Penobscot County Jail where each man was being held Thursday night on $25,000 cash bail.

McCausland said the men are alleged to have started a fire in a large storage building Wednesday morning at the Hill View Mini Barns on Route 2. In addition to the fire, several smaller storage buildings were vandalized.

Damage to the business was estimated to be $50,000. Underhill is a former employee of Hill View Mini Barns.
