WEST GARDINER (AP) — Maine State Police are investigating the shooting death of a 41-year-old man outside a West Gardiner home.

Police say James Haskell, most recently of Chelsea, was shot at about 2:45 a.m. Saturday at the home on Yeaton Drive.

A number of people were in the home at the time of the shooting, all have been interviewed by police and are cooperating with the investigation.

No arrests have been made.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the death. An autopsy will be conducted.
