KITTERY — Will Stuart scored a game-high 20 points and Dalen Hubbard added 18 as Traip Academy posted a 68-54 boys’ basketball win Tuesday night over A.R. Gould.

Traip (5-6) outscored A.R. Gould 20-11 in the fourth quarter.

Tristin Chamberlain and Alex Shoureas each scored 14 points for the Bears (6-2). Malaki Brimage added 13.

WESTBROOK 70, NOBLE 24: Zac Manoogian scored a game-high 16 points, Deng Jany added 14 and the Blue Blazes (7-4) cruised past the Knights (1-9) in Westbrook.

Manoogian and Jany each scored nine in the second quarter as Westbrook outscored Noble 31-4 to take a 40-19 lead at halftime.

Tyler Oliver and Garrett Brown each scored eight points for Noble, which led 15-9 after the first quarter.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 63, LAKE REGION 34: John Martin scored a game-high 22 points as the Patriots (6-5) rolled past the Lakers (5-6) in Gray.

Zachery Brady and Ryan Lachance each added eight for the Patriots, who led 28-18 at halftime.

Mark Mayo scored 10 points to lead Lake Region.

FREEPORT 72, MORSE 65: Eriksen Shea scored 20 points, Caleb Salter-Gurau went 4 for 4 from the free-throw line late in the fourth quarter and the Falcons (7-3) pulled away from the Shipbuilders (1-10) in Freeport.

Thomas Warren scored a game-high 24 points for Morse. Parker Onorato added 19.

Toby Holt scored 14 points and Nate Thomas added 11 for Freeport, which outscored Morse 22-14 in the third quarter to take a 49-42 lead heading into the fourth.

POLAND 72, SACOPEE VALLEY 51: Tyler Tucci poured in a game-high 30 points, knocking down five 3-pointers as the Knights (1-8) downed the Hawks (0-10) in Poland.

McGuire Sawyer scored 23 points, nailing seven 3-pointers to lead Sacopee.

Peter Bolduc III added 13 for Poland, which led 39-20 at halftime.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 44, WELLS 38: Oscar Saunders scored 11 points and Ryan Hewes and Joe Lebrun each added nine as the Raiders (5-6) held on to beat the Warriors (6-4) in Fryeburg.

The Raiders outscored the the Warriors 19-10 in the second quarter to take a 26-17 lead.

Matt Sherburne scored 14 for Wells. Cameren Cousins added 12.

HALL-DALE 81, MT. ABRAM 45: Ashtyn Abbott scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Bulldogs to a win in Farmingdale.

Alec Byron added 13 points for Hall-Dale (11-0) and Tyler Nadeau had 12 and Jett Boyer 11.

Mt. Abram (1-10) was led by Sam Storer and Nate Luce with 11 points apiece. Dawson Bate was also in double figures with 10.

KENTS HILL 56, LEE 53: Darius Hinds had 13 points, five rebounds and three blocks for the Huskies.

Tim Adetuyole and Trevor Watson scored 13 and 10 points for Kents Hill (8-5).

TEMPLE 51, BUCKFIELD 43: Ilija Ivkovic scored a game-high 17 points and the Bereans got contributions from seven players in a win at Waterville.

Nikola Kevic added 13 for Temple (5-6).

Zachary Grover scored 15 for Buckfield (4-7).

MADISON 55, LISBON 42: Evan Bess scored 13 points and Max Shibley had nine points and seven offensive rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the win in Madison.

Jacob Meader added 12 points for Madison (5-7).

D.J. Douglas finished with 19 points for Lisbon (6-5), including four 3-pointers.

RICHMOND 87, TELSTAR 55: Zach Small scored a career-high 48 points to lead the Bobcats to the win in Bethel.

HAMPDEN 66, GARDINER 50: Ian McIntyre scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Broncos to a win at the Augusta Civic Center.

Connor McGuire had 17 points, five rebounds and two blocks for Gardiner (6-4) and Kyle Johnson added 12.

CARRABEC 42, MONMOUTH 41: Evan Holzworth scored 20 points to help the Cobras (4-7) stave off the Mustangs and earn the win in Anson.

BOYS’ HOCKEY

GARDINER 6, MARANACOOK/WINTHROP/MADISON 0: Cam Bourassa scored a pair of goals as the Tigers earned their first win of the season in a game completed Tuesday at Bonnefond Ice Arena.

Gardiner (1-5-0) was leading 3-0 late in the second period when the arena lost power on Jan. 8. Sean Michaud, Jake Weston, Arthur Taylor and A.J. Chadwick also scored for Gardiner.

The Hawks fell to 0-8-0.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

BREWER 43, GARDINER 39: Rebecca Gideon scored six of her 11 points from the free-throw line and the Witches held on for the win in Augusta.

Gardiner (6-5) got seven points each from Anna Toman and Aimee Adams but could not overcome a two-point first quarter in the loss.

Emily Lord added 10 points for Brewer (6-5).

FREEPORT 65, MORSE 40: Alexandra Goodman scored a game-high 28 points and the Falcons (7-3) outscored the Shipbuilders (3-8) 51-25 in the second half to get the win in Bath.

Jessica Driscoll added 14 for the Falcons, which trailed 15-14 at halftime.

Marissa Parks scored 12 points for Morse. Sierra Wallace added 10.

WELLS 61, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 33: The Warriors (5-5) led 31-7 at halftime and defeated the Raiders (0-11) in Wells.

Franny Ramsdell led Wells with 14 points, and Mackenzie Foss added 10.

Kalie Eastman scored 10 points for Fryeburg.

POLAND 63, SACOPEE VALLEY 23: Nathalie Theriault scored 26 points to lead the Knights (8-3) over the Hawks (1-10) in Hiram.

Poland raced to an early lead and lead 35-7 at halftime. Morgan Brousseau scored 14 points for the Knights, and Jessica Seeley added 12.
