A 20-year-old Lisbon Falls man was arrested on nine different charges following a 16-mile police chase early Saturday morning.
Topsham police said in a news release that Adam G. Call, of 3 Clarks Court Road, was arrested following a chase that began at 12:39 a.m. on Main Street in Topsham and ended on Route 201 in Richmond.
Police said Call’s vehicle was traveling at more than 120 mph at times, passed two roadblocks and finally stopped after two of the vehicle’s tires were deflated after running over a spike mat installed by the Richmond Police Department .
Call fled the vehicle on foot. He was apprehended by Topsham police Officer Garrett Decker and Deputy Matthew Shiers of the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department.
Call was charged with operating under the influence, operating after suspension, passing a roadblock, eluding an officer, criminal speeding, reckless conduct, failure to give a correct name to a police officer, failure to submit to arrest, and attaching false plates.
He is being held at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on $2,500 bail.
