OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Maggie Strohm made one of two free throws for the only point in overtime as Old Orchard Beach edged Yarmouth 33-32 in a Western Maine Conference girls’ basketball game Wednesday night.

Shani Plante scored all 10 of her points in the first half to help OOB (12-3) take a 24-15 halftime lead. But the Clippers (5-11) got six points each from Clementine Blaschke and Margaret McNeil in the third quarter and tied the contest at 30-30 going into the fourth.

Brianna Plante also finished with 10 points for the Seagulls.

Blaschke led Yarmouth with 14 points, and McNeil sank three 3-pointers for nine points.

YORK 64, WESTBROOK 38: Julia Babcock scored 18 points as the Wildcats (9-4) cruised past the Blue Blazes (2-13) in York.

Jacquelyn Tabora added 12 points and Lillian Reinertson finished with 11.

Mikayla Van Zandt led Westbrook with 16 points.

WELLS 60, TRAIP ACADEMY 21: Megan Schneider scored 11 of her 17 points in the first half as the Warriors (8-7) built a 36-10 lead in a win over the Rangers (6-9) in Wells.

Franny Ramsdell added 10 points.

Cassidy Delano scored seven points for Traip.

BOOTHBAY 65, MT. ABRAM 28: Page Brown scored 24 points as the Seahawks (16-0) overpowered the Roadrunners (8-8) in Boothbay Harbor.

Faith Blethen added 15 points and Glory Blethen scored 14 for Boothbay, which held Mt. Abram to 12 points through three quarters.

Summer Ross led the Roadrunners with 14 points.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 67, WISCASSET 23: Kaeti Butterfield tossed in 20 points to pace the Mustangs (15-1) to a win over the Wolverines (0-17) in Monmouth.

Destiny Clough and Abbey Allen contributed 10 points apiece, with Clough adding nine rebounds and five steals.

Lindsay Gordon scored 11 points for Wiscasset.

RANGELEY 29, PINE TREE ACADEMY 19: Brooke Egan scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Lakers (14-2) defeated the Breakers (3-12) in Auburn.

Adriana DePalma had nine points for Pine Tree.

MADISON 50, WINTHROP 41: Sydney LeBlanc and Lauren Hay each had 14 points and eight rebounds to pace the Bulldogs (13-3) to a win in Madison.

Kena Souza scored 20 points for Winthrop (8-8).

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

MESSALONSKEE 42, LAWRENCE 33: Cole Wood led a balanced attack with 14 points as the Eagles (7-8) defeated the Bulldogs (5-10) in Fairfield.

Chase Warren added nine points and Dawson Charles chipped in with eight.

Lawrence was led by Dylan Martin-Hachey, Kobe Nadeau and Gavin Herrin with six points apiece.

PINE TREE ACADEMY 55, RANGELEY 33: Chris Amisi scored 22 points and Jared Tamaleaa added 19 to lead the Breakers (9-7) to a victory in Auburn.

Kyle LaRochelle had 11 points for Rangeley (8-7).

GARDINER 70, MT. BLUE 50: Connor McGuire scored 29 points to lead the Tigers (7-8) in Farmington.

Ben Shaw added 13 points and Kyle Johnson finished with 12.

Mt. Blue (1-13) was paced by Garrett Reynolds with 16 points.

GORHAM 3, GREELY 2: Tanner Garrand’s power-play goal early in the third period turned out to be the winner as the Rams (4-8) edged the Rangers (9-2) at Family Ice Center.

Garrand set up Ben Nault’s goal 8:54 into the first period, and Holden Edwards made it 2-0 in the second period before Greely’s Andrew Moore answered with an unassisted goal.

Garrand made it 3-1 just 30 seconds into the third. Matt Kramlich scored midway through the third for Greely.

TUESDAY’S BOYS’ BASKETBALL

WELLS 64, TRAIP ACADEMY 48: Matt Sherburne scored 16 points, Cam Cousins added 13 and Matt Tufts finished with 12 as the Warriors (10-5) handled the Rangers (7-9) at Kittery.

Edoardo Spinoglio led Traip with nine points, followed by Dalan Hubbard with eight and Charlie Driscoll and Will Stuart with seven apiece.
