Readers might be interested in checking out a Feb. 27, 2014, article in The Guardian by Jonathan Jones; it was headlined “The 10 most criminal artists ever,” with a subhead reading: “From murdering goldsmiths to patricide, sex with teenage girls and receiving stolen goods, the history of art is littered with crimes and misdemeanors.”
The artist who was convicted for having had sex with a teenage girl was Egon Schiele; the one who received stolen goods was Picasso.
