Mallory Fairbanks was 3- for-3 with four RBIs to power the Lisbon High School softball team to a 12-5 Mountain Valley Conference win over Hall-Dale on Friday.
The Greyhounds take a 6-2 record into today’s 4 p.m. contest at Monmouth Academy.
Morgan Fenderson, Kiley Merritt and Giana Russo had two hits for Lisbon, while Sydney Plourde chipped in a triple.
Fairbanks pitched for Lisbon, while Sarah Benner took the loss for Hall-Dale.
Grace Begin and Riley Johnson were 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Bulldogs. Sierra Godbout chipped in a two-run single.

The Shipbuilders struck for two runs in the second inning and pitcher Dory Kulis made it stand up as Morse improved to 6-4.
Kulis struck out 10, walked one and permitted just two hits. Allie Martell of Gray-New Gloucester was nearly as good, striking out nine, walking one and allowing five hits.
Sierra Wallace singled twice in the win, while Abby Carpenter, Paige Faulkingham and Julia Goddard each singled.
Jordan Grant and Alexa Thayer each singled for the Patriots.
Morse visits Lincoln Academy today at 4 p.m.

Sydney Underhill-Tilton homered, singled and drove in four runs to power the Bobcats to an East-West Conference win over Forest Hills at Buckfield on Saturday in the opener of a doubleheader.
Bryanne Lancaster allowed four hits and two walks. She struck out nine in earning the mound win.
Lancaster, Ashley Brown and Bryannah Shea each singled twice and drove in two, while Paige Lebel had two hits and four RBIs for the Bobcats.
Mary Brown struck out one, walked seven and permitted seven hits for Forest Hills, with Miranda Shelley driving in two runs.

Shea tossed a two-hit shutout to power the Bobcats (5-0) in the second game.
Shea struck out nine and walked three, while at the plate she singled, doubled and picked up three RBIs.
Underhill-Tilton had a pair of hits, including a double, and two RBIs, while Leah Wescott had three hits (two singles, double, RBI) and Haley Chapman two singles and two runs batted in.
Brown pitched for Forest Hills, giving up 13 hits and five walks.
Richmond hosts St. Dom’s today at 4 p.m.

The host Eagles scored nine first-inning runs en route to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win over Brunswick on Friday in Oakland.
The Dragons are 0-10 with Skowhegan set to visit today at 4 p.m.
Messalonskee, which had seven hits in the contest, took advantage of Brunswick defensive woes along with 12 batters who reached on a walk or were hit by a pitch. Taylor Baker was the lone repeat hitter in the game as she collected two singles for the Eagles. Teammate Leah Smith scored three runs.
Brunswick opened the first inning on a positive note as Lexi Guptill and Bailey Hartill rapped solid singles to center field, but Messalonskee pitcher Katelyn Douglas struck out two batters to get out of the jam. The Dragons managed two walks against Douglas from that point as the Eagles’ pitcher struck out seven batters in the game halted by the mercy rule.

Molly Flaherty and reliever Sadie Waterman scattered three hits and drew ample run support as Oak Hill overpowered Wiscasset in MVC action Friday.
Mahala Smith, Waterman and Abby Nadeau led the Raiders (7-1) with two hits and three hits each. Julia Noel belted a pair of hits including an RBI triple.
August Moore suffered the loss for Wiscasset (2-6) after working all five frames.
The Wolverines host Telstar today at 4:30 p.m.
Baseball
TOPSHAM — Hunter Lohr tossed a two-hit, five-inning shutout as Mt. Ararat rolled to a 12-0 KVAC win over Mt. Blue on Friday.
The Eagles are 4-5 heading into today home contest with Messalonskee at 4:15 p.m.
Lohr received plenty of support from his offense, as Mt. Ararat scored seven runs in the second inning and five more in the fourth.
Nate Leslie had a big day with a single, double and triple. Austin Damon, Nick Merrill, Kyle Brennan, and Devin Tobin each had two hits, while Cam Grant smacked a triple.
Nate Johnson and Spencer Johndes each singled for the Cougars.

Ben Gardner had a home run and four RBIs to lead the Bobcats (6-0) to a five-inning victory over the Tigers (3-4) in Buckfield.
Andrew Vachon hit two doubles, and Zach Small, Nate Kendrick, Tristan Shea, Kyle Tilton and Cyrus Logan also had doubles for the Bobcats.
Richmond visits Rangeley on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

The host Raiders had two big innings to roll to an MVC win over Wiscasset on Friday at Wales.
The Wolverines are 0-10 heading into today’s home contest with Telstar at 4:30 p.m.
Ethan Barnett and Samuel Lindsay plated three runs each for Oak Hill. The Raiders scored 11 runs in the first and 10 in the third. Casey Dion scored four times.
The Wolverines made a dent in the 11-0 deficit with five runs of their own in the top of the third inning.
Ronald Drake went 3-for-3 and scored twice for Wiscasset.

Will Shufelt tossed five shutout innings as Gray- New Gloucester downed Morse on Friday in Bath.
The Shipbuilders are 4-6 heading into today’s road tilt at Lincoln Academy (4 p.m.).
Shufelt struck out six in the win and received ample run support as Nick McCann, Josiah Rottari and Jake Dyer each had two hits, while Connor Saunders added a double. The Patriots put up 10 runs in the second inning.
Austin Magliozzi suffered the loss, going 1 2/3 innings with four walks.
Girls lacrosse
FREEPORT — Taylor Rinaldi and Taylor Dostie each had two goals and an assist as Freeport rolled to a 14-2 win over Oceanside on Friday.
The Falcons improved to 4-2 and host Greely on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Mariners are 0-6.
Freeport took control in the first half, darting out to an 11-2 halftime lead. Maggie Murray added two goals for the Falcons.
Emily Tyler and Nichole Ladd scored for the Mariners.
Piper Sherbert made three saves and Jessie Driscoll keyed a strong defense for the Falcons.
ST. DOM’S 21

The Saints rolled onto McMann Field and came away with a win over the Shipbuilders on Friday.
St. Dom’s darted out to a 17-2 halftime lead.
Caroline Gastonguay had five goals and dished out 10 assists for the Saints, with Charlotte Gastonguay picking up five goals and a helper. Avery Lutrzykowski had a six-point game (two goals, four assists), while Mia-Angelina Leslie chipped in five goals.
Emily Martin paced Morse (3-3) with three goals. Mae Winglass added a goal and a helper, with Maddie McDonough (goal) and Macie Gagne (assist) finding the scoresheet.
Abby Sreden and Zenaide McCarthy combined on 19 saves in the Morse cage. St. Dom’s keeper Simone Long turned away three shots.
Morse visits Gorham today at 4 p.m.

Boys lacrosse
SOUTH PARIS — Wyatt Hudson scored four goals and Braden Olsen picked up a pair of tallies and dished out five assists as Morse downed Oxford Hills, 12-9. on Friday in KVAC action.
Mason Savary and Gaige Kindlimann added two goals a helper for the Shipbuilders, with Jacob Brochu adding a goal and two assists, and Spencer Knowles a goal.
Dylan Maybee had 13 saves in the Morse cage. Ethan Pascuzzo was solid in faceoffs, winning 17-of-21.

Jonah Eng had six goals and two assists to lead the Panthers (6-1) past Mt. Ararat (5-2) at Yarmouth on Friday.
Mason Parks and Xander Kostelnik added two goals apiece for NYA.
The Eagles are 5-2 heading into Tuesday’s road game against Lewiston at Bates College (6:30 p.m.).

Ben Kennedy had five goals and three assists, including the tying goal with 43 seconds remaining in regulation, and Ethan Fraser chipped in the winner in overtime as the Rangers (4-2) came from behind to beat the Dragons (6-2) at Brunswick Friday night.
Fraser finished with two goals and one assist. Tim Coyle added three goals and two assists for Greely.
Aiden Glover and Max Gramins scored three goals apiece for Brunswick, which visits Messalonskee on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
