Well, I would say congratulations are in order.
First, to the people of Maine for giving us eight years of a governor who doesn’t care about the most vulnerable among us, just the rich and big business.
Second, to the people of Maine for giving us Republican “leaders” in the Legislature who obstruct and delay citizen initiatives.
Third, congratulations to a Congress whose leadership doesn’t do the people’s business, but only cares about power and control.
And, last but not least, to all the people who were so desperate for a change in Washington that they elected a man who doesn’t know the meaning of the word truth.
So, congratulations people, I hope you are happy. I hope it is not too late to fix the mess we have made. November can’t get here soon enough.
