YORK — Dawson Gundlah hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning as York scored four times to beat Cape Elizabeth 4-2 in a high school baseball game on Monday.

Alex Neilson was 2 for 3, including an RBI single in the sixth inning for York (4-6), while Riley Linn added a pair of singles.

Valentin Murphy had an RBI double for Cape Elizabeth (7-3).

SCARBOROUGH 15, MARSHWOOD 6: Brian Austin drove in four runs, Nick Thompson drove in three, and the Red Storm (5-5) broke the game open with a five-run second inning to get past the Hawks (5-4) in Scarborough.

Noah Frink and Jack Clark each had two hits and an RBI for Scarborough, which led 11-4 after two innings.

Connor Caverly homered and Nathan Curtis hit a two-run triple as part of a four-run first inning for Marshwood.

WELLS 4, LAKE REGION 2: Cam Cousins hit an RBI double and Michael Wrigley scored on Matt Tufts’ sacrifice fly as the Warriors (8-1) broke a 2-2 tie in the fifth inning to beat the Lakers (4-2) in Wells.

Wrigley drove in a run in the first on a groundout to give Wells a 1-0 lead. Mark Mayo hit an RBI single as Lake Region scored twice in the top of the fourth to take the lead. Wells tied it when Tyler Bridge tripled and scored on a groundout by Gary Andrews in the bottom of the inning.

Liam Bell finished with three hits for Wells. Isaac Holland rapped two singles for Lake Region.

SKOWHEGAN 5, BRUNSWICK 0: Colby Esty struck out eight while throwing a one-hitter, to lift the Indians (6-4) to a win over the Dragons (3-9) in Brunswick.

Esty also had two singles, while Kiel LaChapelle had a pair of doubles.

CHEVERUS 10, KENNEBUNK 6: Chris Cimino lined a bases-clearing double as the Stags (4-5) scored five runs in the first inning and beat the Rams (2-6) in Portland.

Cimino also had an RBI single in the fifth inning for Cheverus, while Andrew DeGeorge went 3 for 4 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Ryan Connors had a pair of hits, including a double, and drove in a pair of runs for Kennebunk.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 8, POLAND 3: The Patriots (6-4) scored four unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth inning as they pulled away from the Knights (1-10) at Gray.

Elijah Winchester had three singles to lead the way for Gray-New Gloucester.

Brycen Bell, Garrett Goss and Adrien Melanson each had two hits for Poland.

WATERVILLE 10, MEDOMAK VALLEY 1: The Purple Panthers (6-4) scored six runs in the first inning to beat the Panthers (2-8) in Waterville.

Dan Gaunce had four hits and drove in three runs for Waterville.

Cody Pellerin earned the win, and also hit a pair of triples and drove in a pair.

EDWARD LITTLE 7, ERSKINE ACADEMY 2: Ben Cassidy had two hits, including a double, and picked up the win on the mound as the Red Eddies (11-0) remained unbeaten with a win over the Eagles (4-7) in South China.

Maxx Bell tripled for Edward Little, while Grant Hartley and Ethan Brown each had a double, and Austin Brown had three singles.

Boomer Jorgensen had two hits, including a double, for the Eagles.

Joe Clark had a double.

LACROSSE

LINCOLN ACADEMY 15, MCI/NOKOMIS 4: Nolen Michael scored eight goals, Liam Cullina added five and the Eagles (7-0) beat MCI/Nokomis (2-5) in Newcastle.

Nate Simmons added two goals, while Dakota Nutter had a goal and an assist.

GREELY 18, MESSALONSKEE 8: Ben Kennedy scored four goals as the Rangers (5-2) opened an 11-5 halftime lead and pulled away from the Eagles (4-3) at Cumberland.

Andrew Lawrence, Devlin O’Keefe and Schuyler Wetmore each had three goals, and Sam Colesworthy added a pair of goals for Greely.

Alden Balboni was the top scorer for Messalonskee with two goals.

Sawyer Gagnon had 16 saves for the Rangers, while Wade Carter had six saves for the Eagles.
