I am pushing for Sen. Susan Collins to vote “no” on Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

For the past year, I have struggled with a condition called vulvodynia and have recently learned I have endometriosis (a condition in which uterine tissue grows elsewhere in the body). Having endometriosis means that without access to birth control or other medication to slow the growth of the tissue, my organs will fuse together and I will die.

Unfortunately, I get very sick when taking birth control, so I have had to seek out other medication that costs more money.

I am concerned about Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, as he has shown hostility to a person’s right to use birth control and to affordable health care. If he were on the Supreme Court, he would most likely try to limit my access to medication and surgeries that I will die without.

I’m counting on Sen. Collins to vote “no” on his nomination and help keep me alive.
