PORTLAND — Portland Buy Local is inviting the public to vote for nominees for Indie Biz Awards in 11 categories.

Voting can be done at https://bit.ly/2oojBfX through Sept. 15, according to an Aug. 28 press release.

Categories are Flavor of Portland, Healthy Portland, Environmental Hero, Portland’s Best Kept Secret, Portland Ambassador, Made in Portland, Business to Business, Creative Crusader, Best New Business, Portland Icon, and Local Love.

Awards will be announced 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 4 in an event at Portland House of Music and Events, 25 Temple St. Portland Buy Local is comprised of more than 400 businesses, individual members and nonprofits.
