Brunswick — Due to today’s rainy forecast, the Maine Principals’ Association has moved today’s regional high school field hockey regional finals to Wednesday.
The South Regionals take place at Biddeford’s Waterhouse Field, while the North Regionals are at Thomas College in Waterville.
Freeport opens play in the Class B South Regional on Wednesday, as the third-seeded Falcons face top-seeded York at 3 p.m. Class C follows as Spruce Mountain and Mountain Valley play at 5 p.m., with the Class A Regional Final pitting Biddeford against Westbrook at 7 p.m.
The North regionals begin with the Class A game between Mt. Blue and Skowhegan at 3 p.m. The Class C game between Dexter and Winthrop is at 5 and the Class B game between Winslow and Gardiner is at 7.
