SACO — Yvonne O. Paquette, 88, of Saco, passed away quietly at home surrounded by her family on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019.

She was born in Canada on Sept. 29, 1930, a daughter of Alphonse and Regina (Belanger) Roy.

Yvonne had been employed by Bates Manufacturing, Pepperell Manufacturing and Morningstar.  Her family was her main focus. She found great fulfillment being a stay-at-home mother to raise her children.

Yvonne had many hobbies including ceramics, gardening, and working on puzzles with friends. She also found great pleasure and relaxation tending to her many houseplants, often nursing ailing plants for others.  She enjoyed music, especially live performances by her husband, her two sons, and her granddaughter, Jennifer. She had a special fondness for all animals, especially her pets.  Most of all, she looked forward to spending time with her three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Paquette was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Parish.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien G. Paquette, on Aug. 13, 2005, and by several brothers and sisters.
