NORTH ANSON — Caitlin Kendrick scored 15 points to power the Richmond High School girls basketball team to a 35-25 Mountain Valley Conference win over Carrabec on Friday.
The Bobcats have won six of their last seven games to improve to 6-7, while the Cobras fell to 3-10.
Richmond led 11-8 after a quarter, 15-13 at the half and 22-20 after three. A 13-5 scoring advantage in the fourth allowed the Bobcats to pull away.
Kendrick dished out four assists and had three steals, while Hannah Moholland finished with 12 points, five rebounds and six steals.
Cheyenne Cahill led Carrabec with eight points.
Richmond hosts Hall-Dale on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Charlotte MacMillan led the charge as the Dragons rolled to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference victory over Leavitt at Turner on Saturday.
The 11-1 Dragons visit Morse today at 2:30 p.m.
Brunswick led 16-4, 33-10 and 46-16 at the quarter breaks.
MacMillan had 19 points, six assists, six steals and five rebounds in the win. Marley Groat pitched in 15 points, two assists and two steals, Rosalie White 10 points, four rebounds and three assists, and Lexi Guptill 10 points, five boards and two assists.
Kayleigh Gilbert and Taylor White had six points each for Leavitt.

Luci Rothwell powered her way to 19 points as the visiting Rebels (2-10) downed the Wolverines (0-13) on Friday in MVC play.
Telstar led from the start, taking a 13-5 lead after a quarter.
Calla Orina had eight points and Brooke Richardson seven in the win.
Sydnie Thayer paced Wiscasset with seven points, with Alice Yokabaskas adding four points and eight rebounds. Zoey Waltz picked up four points.
The Wolverines visit Boothbay on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Oak Hill 53
The host Raiders (11-1) pulled away in the second quarter in an MVC matchup at Wales on Friday.
Oak Hill led 11-9 after a quarter before using a 12-3 second quarter for a 23-12 halftime lead. The Raiders extended out to a 42-21 advantage through three.
Paige Gonya led Oak Hill with 16 points.
Valerie Doucette and Mallory Fairbanks each scored six points for Lisbon, which fell to 1-11 and hosts Spruce Mountain today at 1 p.m.
Boys basketball
BRUNSWICK — Wyatt Hathaway hit four 3-pointers and finished with 27 points as Leavitt defeated Brunswick, 63-46, in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference game Saturday.
Cole Morin chipped in with 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Joziah Learned added 10 points for Leavitt (11-0), which is ranked No. 2 in the Class A South Heal point standings.
Brunswick (6-5) was led by Noah Cox with 12 points.
The Dragons are slated to visit Morse today at 4 p.m.

The host Bobcats darted out to a 20-3 first-quarter lead and didn’t look back in earning their third straight MVC victory.
Richmond, 4-9 and slated to visit Hall-Dale on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., led 27-18 at the half and 42-22 after three.
Kenny Bing and Calob Densmore led four Bobcats in double figures with 12 points each, while Nick Adams and Ben Young both contributed 10 points. Danny Stewart had 11 rebounds, with Bing picking up nine boards and seven assists. Dakotah Gilpatric and Stewart also had four steals apiece.
Nikkolas Dube led Carrabec (0-13) with 15 points.

Telstar 53
Myles Lilly made a free throw with less than four seconds remaining to give the Rebels (1-11) a four-point lead as they beat the Wolverines (1-12) for their first win of the MVC season on Saturday at Bethel.
Freshman center Brayden Stevens had 25 points and 15 rebounds for Telstar. Lilly finished with 10 points.
Matt Chapman scored 18 points and Billy Pinkham had 10 for Wiscasset, which hosts Boothbay on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Boys hockey
WATERVILLE — Noah Austin scored two goals as Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Hyde defeated Lawrence/Skowhegan/MCI, 3-1, on Saturday at Colby College.
Hunter Merryman also scored for the Eagles (5-6-1), who got assists from Cade Charron and Tanner Robleto. Sean Moore made 23 saves for the win.
The Eagles are slated to host Poland tonight at 8:30 p.m.
