Falcon’s Nest drive

Westbrook Middle School’s Falcon’s Nest has announced a food and toiletry drive March 16-24 hosted by Big Lots, 1100 Brighton Ave., Portland.

Suggested non-perishable food items include macaroni and cheese cups, microwaveable meals, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, crackers, goldfish, granola bars, fruit snacks, soups, pudding, canned vegetables, pasta and sauce.

Toiletry item suggestions include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, mouthwash, deodorant, hair elastics, hair brushes, combs and feminine hygiene products.

Seniors to dine

Westbrook Seniors Citizens will be served a meal at noon on Monday, March 18, at the Westbrook Community Center, 426 Bridge St.

The menu includes stuffed shells with sauce, salad, Italian bread and apple pie. Marc Mailhot will play piano.

Metro fare feedback

Greater Portland Metro will conduct a public forum from 3:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, in the Spruce Room at Westbrook Community Center, 426 Bridge St., Westbrook, to discuss proposed fare changes and new, automatic fare payment options.

Members of the public can drop in at their convenience.

Woman’s club art show

GFWC Westbrook Woman’s Club will hold its annual high school art show at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, at Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St.

High school art teachers, parents and students will attend. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.

Mobility, access meeting

The Westbrook Safe Mobility and Access Committee will hold its monthly meeting at 5 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at Dunkin at Main and Stroudwater streets.
