YARMOUTH — A presentation on the effort to document the town’s historic structures will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Merrill Memorial Library.

The Yarmouth Historical and Village Improvement societies recently conducted an architectural survey of more than 760 structures.

The library is also hosting an exhibit about the survey, which is being funded in part with a grant from the Maine Historic Preservation Commission.

The goal is to use the data gathered as the foundation for future public policy decisions designed to protect Yarmouth’s history. Anyone wishing to provide information should email wsimmons@yarmouth.me.us or call the Planning Department at 846-2401.
