WELLS – The following individuals were arrested or issued a summons by Wells Police from April 2 through April 8:
• Scott Wilder, 57, of Wells, was arrested and charged with violating conditions of release following a complaint. He was not allowed bail and was transported to York County Jail. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court on April 16. He was arrested and charged with the same offense the following day..
• Mari-Lee Lucas, 51, of Sanford was arrested and charged with operating under the influence following an erratic driver complaint.. She is scheduled to appear at York District Court on May 21.
• Brittany Young, 31, of Springvale was arrested and charged with operating under the influence and operating a vehicle without a license following a traffic collision on Sanford Road. She is scheduled to appear at York District Court on May 21.
• Thomas Orfe, 29, of 380 Emery’s Bridge Road, South Berwick was arrested and charged with operating under the influence following a traffic collision on Boyd Road. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court on May 21.
• Paul Coughlin, 48, of 24 Windsor Commons Drive, Kennebunk, was issued a summons charging for unlawful possession of methamphetamine following a disturbance complaint at a local residence. Paul is scheduled to appear at York County Superior Court in Alfred on May 10. During the same incident, Evan Andrews, 31, of Rockland, was issued a summons charging unlawful possession of a schedule w drug and possession of hypodermic apparatuses. He is scheduled to appear at court June 18.
• Peter Twombly, 32, of Ogunquit was issued a summons charging operation of vehicle without a license following a traffic stop on Post Road. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court on June 18.
• Donald Carson, 56, of, Wells was issued a summons charging for assault and is scheduled to appear at York District Court on June 18.

Arrests and summons issued by police do not constitute guilt, they are a charge issued by a law enforcement agency and individuals are considered innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
