WELLS – The following people were arrested or charged by Wells Police from April 11 to April 14:
• Crystal Lambert, 28, of , Rochester, New Hampshire, was issued a summons charging theft by unlawful taking or transfer following a shoplifting complaint at a local business. She is scheduled to appear at York District Court on June 18.
• Albert Colantonio, 48, of Beverly, Massachusetts, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence and speeding in excess of 30 miles over the posted limit. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court on May 21.
• Steve Riley, 45, of Wells was arrested and charged with aggravated assault following a disturbance at a local residence He is scheduled to appear at York County Superior Court in Alfred on May 10.

Arrests and summons issued by police do not constitute guilt, they are a charge issued by a law enforcement agency and individuals are considered innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
