Jason Theobald and Kristin Racine joined Curtis Thaxter LLC.
Theobald was previously an assistant attorney general in the litigation division of the Office of the Maine Attorney General.

Racine joined the firm’s litigation and administrative law practice group.
Prior to joining the firm, Racine had practiced as an associate attorney in New York City and as an attorney representing low-income tenants in the NYC Housing Court.

Christopher McDonald was named head of school at Maine Central Institute beginning in July.
McDonald is currently the director of international affairs and a humanities teacher at Stanstead College in Quebec, Canada. He succeeds Christopher J. Hopkins, who is leaving the school at the end of June.

Tex Boggs

Tex Boggs was named interim president and provost of University of Maine at Fort Kent.
Boggs has been serving as interim provost and vice president for academic affairs at the university since August of 2018. He has more than 25 years of experience. He will assume his new role on July 1, following board approval.

The Boulos Company announced the promotion Nate Stevens, a broker at the firm, to partner.
Stevens joined Boulos in 2007 after working with CBRE in Tucson, Arizona.

David Kaufman

David Kaufman recently joined the board of directors for Friends of Casco Bay.
Kaufman, of South Freeport, spent 35 years in broadcasting, starting with CBS Network News and ending as chief executive officer the WMTW Broadcast group.

CERTIFICATIONS

Brianna Ham

Brianna Ham, environmental health and safety consultant at RPF Environmental, Inc., has earned the Council-Certified Microbial Investigator designation by the American Council for Accredited Certification.
Th certification will allow Ham to inspect properties for mold and bacteria issues, and provide recommendations for handling contamination.
