Bowdoin’s Dunleavy
earns golf honors

BRUNSWICK — Bowdoin College junior Thomas Dunleavy has been named Second Team All-NESCAC in men’s golf honors handed out by the conference on Wednesday.

Dunleavy was Bowdoin’s top player during the tournament season last fall, winning a pair of tournaments — the CBB Championship and USM Invitational.

At the NESCAC Fall Qualifier last September, he was the Polar Bears’ top finisher, taking 16th overall. It is the second time Dunleavy has been named All-Conference in his career.

Despite the bulk of the season being played in the fall, the NESCAC announces All-Conference honors in the spring following the conference championship last weekend. Dunleavy also played 19 games for the Bowdoin men’s hockey team last winter, scoring two goals and three assists.
