LEWISTON — Ema Hawkes scored two goals as Mt. Ararat tallied four times in the second half en route to a 4-1 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference soccer win over Lewiston on Wednesday

The Eagles improved to 5-2 and host Bangor today at 3:30 p.m.

Margaret Dwinal and Hannah Hawkes chipped in a goal each, while Mt. Ararat goaltender Maddie Kinney turned away eight shots.

Abby Svor scored the lone goal in the first half for the Blue Devils (2-5). Netminder Gemma Landry made 15 saves.

SOUTH CHINA — Erskine Academy scored the final three goals for a 3-1 KVAC win over Morse on Tuesday.

The Shipbuilders, who fell to 1-8 and host Oceanside this upcoming Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., grabbed a 1-0 lead on a Gavin Hanna goal. Drew Marecek earned an assist.

Two minutes later, the Eagles tied the game on an unassisted marker by Griffin Anderson.

Later in the first half, Sam Boynton scored his first of two goals to put Erskine Academy ahead to stay.

Morse keeper Brenton Cahill made eight saves, while Erskine netminder Liam Perfetto recorded 15 stops.
