Mid Coast Hospital announced its first baby of 2020. Paisley Poor was born at 9:33 p.m. on Jan. 2 to Jaymi and Joshua Poor of Waldoboro. As with all babies born in Maine, Paisley is eligible for the Harold Alfond® College Challenge to receive a $500 grant toward NextGen College Investing Plan account. The Alfond Scholarship Foundation, an organization started by beloved Maine philanthropist Harold Alfond, launched the program to ensure access to higher education for all Maine’s children.
