The fact that Donald Trump is guilty of inciting a riot and the resultant desecration of our nation’s Capitol is obvious to anyone but the blindest of jurors. Sadly, it was a foregone conclusion that Senate Republicans lacked the courage to convict. They are fearful of many things, most of which is the mob coming after them, something that will be condoned by their failure to convict.
Republicans have sacrificed the platform position of the law and order party because they failed miserably at recognizing the duplicitous actions of this president and holding him accountable.
